Hi everyone,

About a week and a half ago I noticed that I no longer
had an address bar on my web browser. I first noticed it
when I started using 1and1 web hosting. I had to
completely shut down my firewall to use there web
creator.

So I thought that was the problem. So today, for the 4th
time in about two weeks, I wiped all files and did a
fresh install of Windows XP Home. Alas! I was
saved....NOT!!! It happened again and I did not go near
1and 1 web hosting.

I went to Tweakxp.com and there was a tip on doing a
fresh install of just IE but I could not get it to work.
I have Spybot search and destroy and Ad-Aware6 to clean
out spy ware and it found nothing. I also have Norton's
Anti-virus.

Can anyone please help me?

Thank you for your time.

Respectfully, Jess

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

....Alan
