Keep loosing my Default email in MS Outlook 2003?

I have 4 different emails setup with our family computer. and one
of them is the default email address that is used when composing new
email. For some reason lately, my hotmail has become the default
email. So I changed it back to how it was. Next day it's back to
hotmail email account as the default email, for new emails. Is that
the work of a virus or something? thanks.
 
It is probably the work of one of the other users on the family computer.

I don't think so, my girls are too young for that. All the emails
are mine, except one it my wife's. I changed the default then closed
outlook and re opene it. And right away hotmail is back as default.
So no, it's not my kids.
 
What is set as the default delivery location? If its hotmail, it can take
over as default sending account. If you make the change and outlook doesn't
close properly, it can be undone. Next time you reboot, before opening
outlook, go into control panel, mail, and make the change to your profile.
Then open outlook.

This is the second report of that that I've seen. I haven't seen any updated
to Outlook Connector since 12.1 came out quite some time ago, so I dont think
it's the OC causing trouble. Try starting Outlook in safe mode (hold Ctrl
when starting) and see if the behavior changes. If it does, start examining
your add-ins.
