keep it around 1k p4 dual system

My boss has me building a system for him but I need advice on cpu and motherboard selection
My budget is about 1k
Just trying to pick a brain
this is what im going for
2 gigs ddr2
Dual 3.0 + p4 (wouldnt be against AMD im just not familiar with them)
Motherboard ??? dont know much about these just want 800fsb+
Graphics card gforce 7200 512

Main help i needs is picking out a good motherboard and cpu thats upto speed and perfectly compatible.

whats the main purpose of this system ? with that graphics card i'm assuming its not a gaming system ?

if your gonna go dual core get an intel core 2 duo, they are way better than the old dual core P4's and are reasonably priced

somehting like an E6300 or E6400 would be a good choice, as for the motherboard i'm not really up on the latest intel stuff so i'll wait for someone else to reccomend something
