Keep hyphen in phone number

Outlook 2007 removing hyphens from new phone number entries, as though I
didn't even type them!

Is there a setting somewhere that will tell Outlook to keep hyphens as typed?

If you configure your WIndows Dialing amd Modem properties correctly,
Outlook will format the phone number correctly.
