keep getting weird http:/// pages

Every now and then I go to any of many website pages and
after fully loading the page it jumps me to a blank
http:/// page in the "address" bar, with one of those "The
page cannot be displayed" error pages.

It know the website isn't sending me there, but i think
something's wrong with my IE thats making it jump to these
pages

maybe something to do with pop-ups or anything ??
