Keep getting this message

I have a computer with Windows XP with IE 6. Yesterday, we had to
reinstall Microsoft .NET 2.0 and the install went fine.

Today, we have a website on our intranet that serves the Crystal Report
ActiveX viewer control to local PC's for reporting. When this machine
goes to that website, it gets a message "Press Enter or Space Bar to
activate and use this control." I have changed the website settings
for the trusted sites and intranet to no avail; no matter what, I get
this message.

I saw the articles and installing JavaSE 5 helped the Java side of the
problem somewhat, not sure what to do about the ActiveX side, though.
I'll be honest that this, to me, is welding the barn door shut after a
few horses have escaped.
