Yesterday I downloaded software for an old bluetooth mobile device (TDK) and
since then every time i start the laptop it tries to install hardware via the
wizard, saying its for "ports". I have uninstalled all the bluetooth stuff i
put on and checked the ports within "Printers and Faxes" and looked at the
program list but cant see anything untoward. I tried to follow the wizard to
its completion and when it cant find the stuff it needs to install its gives
you the choice to check "do not try to install this again" but it then pops
up immediatley again. So I keep clicking cancel and it pops up about 8 times
before a message from the system tray saying hardware failed to install, this
product may not work. Any clues please, its driving me mad?!
