Hello. I moved my computer across the room and now I keep getting the "blue
screen of death" when I restart. I am able to load up just find in Safe
Mode. I was unable to do StartUp Repair Tool as stated in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925810/en-us.

What information do you guys need to help me out?

Thanks in advance

Were there any incidents when moving the computer (dropping, bumping, etc)?
Did you change any of the connections or cables when moving it?
Was the computer turned off properly before moving it?
Why can't you do the Startup Repair tool (missing disk, tool won't work, etc)?
What does the BSOD say when it occurs?

Check your cards and memory as the move may have loosened
something, ditto for cables. Actually take then out and replace
or unhook and replace, DO NOT JUST TRY TO SNUG.
Of course unplug machine first.

I finally figured out how to stop the automatic restated and copied the BSOD
error message. Then I goodled the file which was nvlddmkm.sys. It's an
Nvida Driver that was screwing up. After researching that it seems that this
is a HUGE error and they are working on it. For some people new drivers or
old drivers work...for other no matter what they do it just does not work.

I simply uninstalled the driver, rebooted, installed the driver again,
rebooted and now it works. Fun.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions.

Hi, Toby.

Thanks for the report back. And I'm glad you got it working! ;<)

As you said, "Fun!"
