I am inserting a number of pre-existing documents into one new document, each
in a new section. Is there a way to for document to be inserted with no
change to the original formatting (font size, etc.) of each one?

If relevant, I'm doing this via VB script.

The method of insertion, whether manual or VB or anything else, is not
relevant. The governing principle is whether the styles in the source
and destination documents have the same names and, if they do, whether
they have the same definitions.
