I need printer which keeps in internal memory (hard disk, flash
card, ...) documents when for any reason power goes off (blackout or
jammed paper, so I have to restart it).
I have Solaris system (I can't change it !) which sends automatically
health data to shared printer, so if I can't loss documents and to ask
again system to print it.
Suggestions ?
Does it exist a similar printer, Kyocera ?

I think Xerox has a model that stores copies of the documents sent to
it so you can run off multiple copies in case there is a jam, or want
to print multipart and such.

But if all you want is to make sure that a power failure will not
cause a loss of a critical document on a often-used printer, why not
just buy a battery backup unit for it? American Power Conversion (APC)
and Liebert both make affordable UPS devices in a variety of sizes,
and I doubt your one printer would need a large one. I would suspect
you already have a UPS for the Solaris, maybe you can add the printer
to that one?
