keep conected when switching users?????

i am running widows 2000 and my computer connectes to the
internet when it is powerd on no dialing required it is
off a 4 port router to the computer now what i am
wondering is there anyway to keep my internet connection
when i swithch users now i have gone into regedit and
changed the one and added the KeepRASconnections and that
dont work does anyone know how to keep my connection when
switching users some kid at my school said i cant do it
and i think anything can be done but maby not but e mail
me at (e-mail address removed) if you need more details
or instant message me at "polaris11d7"

You're on the right track with your registry hack. However,
if your work in the registry is as sloppy as your spelling in
this post then I'm not surprised that it does not work.

State exactly what you did in the registry (verbatim, please!)
and where, and we'll tell you where things went wrong.
 
Hi Tyler,

When creating the dial-up connection, it asks if you want to create the connection only for the
current user or for all users. If "only for the current user" is selected, the problem occurs. If you
recreate the connection for all users, then it should worked fine.
