I have a series of event ID 7 errors in my log... They all look like
this:

Source: KDC
Event ID: 7

The Security Account Manager failed a KDC request in an unexpected
way. The error is in the data field. The account name was
[email protected] and lookup type 0x28.

Data (words): 0000: c0000017

I've alse seen the same error with ".... account name was SERVERNAME$
and lookup type 0x8"

Since these errors were logged 2 days ago, we've had the server freeze
up once, which required a hard reboot. We also seem to have a corrupt
Default Domain Policy... when I try to edit it and go to "Security
Settings" under Computer Configuration, I get a message that says
"Windows cannot open template file". This happens on all 3 of my
domain controllers.

I have 3 domain controllers, all running Windows 2000 Server, with
latest SPs and patches.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I'd appreciate any info.
Thanks!
