Hello, I think I need the hotfix described in this KB article. Most all of
our XP pro machines here get the same security event log message constantly
when they are logged into the machine (note only regular users, not local
admins).

Any of you Microsoft MVP's out there have this file. I would like to test
this out to see if it solves our problem.

I wanted to check here on technet before calling Microsoft and possibly
getting charged for it.

Thank you,

Chris

My advice is that it would be foolhardy to accept an E-mailed file
from a stranger on the Internet. There are malicious people out there,
and you have no idea what you might get. You don't even know *who* you
are getting a file from, since anybody can sign anybody else's name,
forge headers, etc.

Ken, wouldn't the KB be available from MS for download?
