After installing KB835732 my Win 2K box became all but unusable since
the system process was using 99% of system resources. Uninstalling it
is difficult because of the lack of system resources. I found a way
to make the uninstall go faster (almost instant).
After starting the uninstall, change the spuninstall process to a
priority of high.
To do this, right click on the task bar and bring up task manager. Go
to the process tab. Right click on spuninstall and select Set
Priority. Select High and answer OK.
It still takes a long time to shutdown but the uninstall can take 2
hours without this tip.
