KB835732-service pack patch

When installing the patch for service pack 3/4, for the
sasser worm virus, the pc doesn't start up. Just before
the logon box appears the machine just hangs. Has anyone
else had this problem yet ?

Lots of people have this problem. Look further back in this newsgroup. Microsoft have developed a hotfix for this problem that also doesn't work for everyone, me included.
