I have Windows XP Home Edition. I was prompted by
Microsoft Upgrade to install KB835732. Well, I tried but
while instanlling I get "Access is Denied". I contacted
Microsoft and the support personnel told me to wait until
I instal Service Pack 2, because he believes that this is
for SP2. Needless to say, that I never received
notifications to upgrade to SP2, because the only dowload
that my computer is getting is KB835732. I ordered SP2
on a CD...received it and tried to install it...Guess
what? While instanlling, I received "Access is Denied".
When I tried to contact Microsoft again to reopen my case
(because in reality that did not resolve my problem), I
get the message that I have exceeded the number of
supports for my product. Can somebody please help with
this issue. It looks like for some reason, somewhere I
have a security check to prevent some files to be written
to my hard drive. Your help is greatly appreciated.
