Hi,

I have a lot of KB log files within my Windows directory. Is it safe to delete
these, or should they be kept??

Thanks

If you are refering to the $ntUninstinstallKB*** files; once removed you
will not be able to uninstall updates.

Unless you have a free space problem they do no harm

Thanks, I was just wondering.

You can delete the KB log files without affecting anything, except for
gaining some hard drive space. I delete the KB log files all of the time.
After an update has been installed properly the logs serve absolutely no
purpose. Unless you like to read history.

If you delete the $NTUninstall folders, then you cannot uninstall the
updates.

What are the $NTUninstall folders? Can they be deleted?
