kb and q files in c:\windows folder

i know that i can delete these files C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstall but what about
the text files that start with KB and these q i understand that these are
the install files for windows updates. can i delete them?

You can, but why would you want to? Text files are small.

They are not install files, they are also uninstall files.

the reason i ask is because i have over 50 of these.

You can delete them if you are sure you won't want to remove those updates.

I have a little over 50 of them and they only take up 2.4 MB. Are you hurting
for space that much? There really isn't a point to deleting them. Maybe you
might need to clear your temporary internet files
