Do I have to pay for using Kazaa Light to get it to work properly? I have
used "Kazaa Light K++ v.2.4.3" but the last days it is has not been possible
to activate "Search".

Because Norton hates everything else.... (including itself half the time
;o)), wouldn't touch a Symantec product if you paid me.

I stopped using KLK++ a while ago and opted for KCEasy instead (KLK is on
it's way out IMHO)

Why? Steffen

Norton works with an application white list. By default, only Norton itself,
Live update (update machine of Norton), you default browser, email, news and
netmeeting programs are granted internet access. Other software must be
added 'manualy'. For detailed instructions on how to add applications to the
whitelist, read the manual.
(Don't even try asking back here if your copy came without a manual)

By the way: Though Kazaa is(or was) freeware, I will not be surprised if
this specific kind of software is more or less off-topic here, for (IMH)
obvious reasons.

Hi!
An thank you. I have just installed KCeasy but apparently it does not work.
Have checked "Audio" under "Search Realm", and have Searched for the word
"Beatles". No results! In Kazaa Light there are hundreds of results.
Steffen

It's working just fine here.....? (running on 98SE)

I questioned this myself some time back but was shouted down
(metaphorically speaking!) The consensus at the time was that although
you *can* do naughty things with some software there are often valid and
legitimate uses as well. My own opinion is that 99.9% of P2P users are
doing it for the former reason rather than the latter :-)
