Kav6, do you know it?

Hi, I know Kav6 combines antivirus protection with a personal firewall
and an antispam filter. Is it possible to install Anti-virus only?

KAV 6.0 is what you need if it is only the anti-virus you need

You can choose which components (KAV, KAH, KAS, etc.) to install, or
not, from the KIS installer, available as a download. You can also
download only the KAV installer, with or without the databases, and
then use your KIS key to install it. If you have any questions, check
out the KL fora (forums).

BTW, if you are considering purchasing a license, check out the
difference in price between KAV 6/2006 and KIS 6/2006. Even if you
want to use a different PFW right now, you may find that having the
rights to all of the KIS components for the next year or two is worth
the few extra bucks that it costs. Trust me. People who only had a KAV
license, and now want to upgrade to KIS, wish that they had spent the
extra $5 or $10 USD for KPSS last year. With the 30% discount for
renewing, it ends up being cheaper (and easier) in the long run.

And of course, if you buy a KL license, buy it through Art's web site.
