Kav 4.5 sucks more resources than Norton AV?

Hello I have a Pentium IV 2800 MHz and I'd like to install Kav 4.5 Pro
but I am afraid it sucks many resources. Two years ago I had Norton
and I replaced it because it slow down my PC. Kav is better then
Norton about resources?
How many minutes it need to scan a 80 Gig HD?

If your P4 is slowed down,... could it not be a lack of memory freely
available. It's not the P4 2.8 that is in need of oxygen running
Norton. It's heavy,.. but not that heavy ;-)

Else try Pandasoftware. That is resources friendly.
