I just started using Kaspersky Antivirus..Personal ver.5
it seems to be working ok and doesn't hog down my system like Norton or
Mcafee..I love the pause feature on the scan if you want to do something
else for a minute on the computer and resume it later.Any thoughts on this
Antivirus program?.how does it rate?.It's gotta be better than AVG free or
EZ or avast..thanks

It is said to be the best in detections. You should enable the extra
definitions in update options. You will get protection against
spyware, dialers, keyloggers etc too.

Nothing escapes from Kaspersky Av

I too was very impressed with Kaspersky - having used Kaspersky
Anti-Virus Pro. It does catch everything, has minimal resource
loading - and has four updates DAILY! I had to stop using it,
unfortunately - it was not (and is still not) compatible with Windows
XP Fast Switching/User Switching capability.

It gives an error when switching user "KAV control center was started
by user..." but if you don't mind clicking one extra time OK you are
still protected, all warnings and alerts show only in the first user
desktop but you can't access the malicious files as a second user.

A nuisance which should have been fixed already.
