Which one is a more effective antivirus? and which is more effective
against malware overall?

P.S. please none of those overused, utterly braindead but ironically
I-am-so-much-smarter-than-thou "it depends, you're a dumbass" replies.
 
And it is great that you gave several URL's to solidify your answer
for Kaspersky being the 'best' at detection of viruses and malware.

his issue has been discussed here so many times that it would be waste
of bandwidth to repeat everything again. Google does a fine job
searching newsgroups.
