K8N Doesn't Recognize DDR400?

I put 2 sticks of Mushkin Basic PC3200 (2x512MB, double-sided, Sempron
64 3100+, BIOS v1009) in my K8N but it sees it as only DDR333 (POST
shows DRAM Clock = 333). I've tried setting it manually in the BIOS to
400, but it still says 333 on bootup. I've tried running the 2 sticks
in slots 1 and 2, then 1 and 3. No change. Is there a solution to the
problem?

What CPU are you using? What's it say when you try one module at a time?

Sempron 64 3100+ (socket 754). Haven't tried running just 1 stick at a
time. CPUZ identified the memory as PC3200 (200MHz) correctly. Somebody
posted an opinion on Newegg's site for the K8N. He had the same problem
as me with his double-sided PC3200 being recognized as DDR333 and said
the problem surfaced after BIOS revisions after 1006. He solved his
problem by RMA'ing his memory and getting a single stick of 1G PC3200. I
thought Mushkin was supposed to be pretty good, but it's not one of the
listed qualified vendors for Asus. Only Corsair, Kingston, and Samsung.
I guess I should've bought Corsair instead.
