k7vta3 mobo has built in VIA VT1612A audio codec. I know how to install
hardly failed before. This mobo I can't do it. I tried many drive including
the website from manfucature. It never worked. Does anyone know about this?
Confirm "OnChip AC97 Audio" is enabled in the BIOS [Integrated
Peripherals->VIA OnChip PCI Device] and that your speakers/headphones
are connected to the middle audio jack, then give the reference drivers
a shot -

I just installed one driver working but not 100%. I can play sound, mp3,
but I can't play game at all. I've never seen this before. Any game I play it
gives this error message "DDHelp found error at winmm.dll."
I'm glad you finally got sound working. According to KB articles 286006
& 179295, your problem may be caused by old/incompatible video/audio
driver or a hosed DirectX install. (Maybe even both.)
It might not be a bad idea to remove all traces of previous audio
drivers and reinstall with the latest unified audio driver from VIA -

Update your video card driver.
Apply VIA's Hyperion 4in1 driver -

Then reinstall DX9 -

If that doesn't work, you might also want to take this to

Best of luck.
