K-Meleon 0.8.2 "performs an illegal operation" !

Any K-Meleon users here ?

I just downloaded K-Meleon 0.8.2 from K-Meleon's sourceforge site.

The file is 5,286,198 bytes and filename is kmeleon082.exe

I clicked on the file and I got "The program has performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down" error message.

Anyone here encountered such a problem ?

I'm using Win 98SE.

Yes it happens to me all the time with K-meleon and Firebird lasts a few
minutes on a WIN98SE system. I gave up on both and use NS 4.79 most of
the time and supplement it with OFFBYONE.
