K-Meleon 0.8.2 "performs an illegal operation" !

Any K-Meleon users here ?

I just downloaded K-Meleon 0.8.2 from K-Meleon's sourceforge site.

The file is 5.286,198 bytes and filename is kmeleon082.exe

I clicked on the file and I got "The program has performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down" error message.

Anyone here encountered such a problem ?

I'm using Win 98SE.

Check for spyware: Xupiter and NewDotNet have been known to cause this
message. To remove them, use Spybot S&D.

I'm using K-Meleon 0.8.2 with W98SE.
Have installed it three times on two different computers. No problems.

I think you should try the advice of R.T. Cox.
