I recently had a computr crash. I at this time took
Windows 98 out and loaded XP Professional 2000. I now
have no "java" or JVM. Where can I go to download this?

http://java.sun.com Microsoft can no longer distribute their own Java VM

Only reply by newsgroup. If I see an email I didn't ask for, it will be

Court ruling - no more MSJVM.
In slapping MS, they slapped all the rest of us.
I've got managers that will find any shortcoming. 98% of
users won't notice the difference between Sun and MSJVM,
but a few will. Only the MS JVM will fully function 100%,
at this time. As fewer websites are developed with MS
Java, things will improve.
I've got the package and I now install it after
installing the base SP4 Windows install so that my users
have 100% functionality.
It is leagal for us to grab the package and install it.
It's just illegal for MS to offer MSJVM for download
(although MS can still offer patches to machines that
already have it).
Google it, or try this:
http://java-virtual-machine.net/download.html
