How do I download pictures from this camera to Movie Maker. My computer wants a driver GRDVL520 and I cannot find it.

Is this still pictures? or movie? Stills are done by USB, you may just be
able to do it via windows explorer, (without installing the driver) drag and
drop to a hdd folder, then import into collections in MM. If it's video, you
need to connect via firewire and just use the capture video wizard in MM, no
driver required here.

Thanks. But I still need more help. I am new to all this. I am trying to import videos, not stills. I do not know what a firewire is or how to get one. Do you have information that would help?

Mary Ann,

I am not sure if you are making progress but if you are using a digital camera, the small connection port on your camera (about 1/4 long by about an 1/8 inch or so) is your firewire interface. Your computer must have a card that would then support the other end of your firewire cable (a slightly larger plug, about 3/8ths by 1/8 or a tad wider).

If you care to ask some other questions, feel free to email me where I can then send you some pictures of what to look for.

Here's some pics

try popping in to your local camcorder shop and ask them to show you the
firewire port on a cam similar to yours, or take yours in. And do the same
for the pc, firewire cards are only about £15 (UK), so not expensive and
should come with a cable. Have a search of Amazon.com.
