Just Want to Play a DVD

XP Home, SP 2, Media Player 9.x. I just want to play a stock DVD. I think
an MPEG-2 codec. Are there any good ones that are free? I see there are
some on the Microsoft site priced at $5-$15. Which of these is the best for
just playback?
