Just want a plain graph -- heeeeelp!

I know this is possible because I did it many years ago, but now I can't
figure out how for anything.

I just have a plain table with 2 columns. One is supposed to be the x axis
and one is supposed to be the y axis. But I cannot plot them versus each
other! All it wants to do is to make two unrelated lines of each column on
its own versus nothing. I don't quite know what good that would do, but
whatever. I just want them versus each other. Pleeeeez help, TIA!

Hi Julie
try the following
- select your two columns of data
- goto 'Insert - Chart'
- choose thy type 'X/Y scatter'
- finish the wizard / format too your needs

Wow, thank you! I saw that scatter plot but it didn't seem right at first.
But now I figured out how to put a line in, too. Thanx!
