Home does not support a server, so you will end up using disc-based webs.
Open your web on your local machine, then just publish it to your
server...BUT if this is a new install on your machine and your server web is
current you should Publish from your server (online server) to your
disc-based web location on your home machine.
So...open FP, Open Site, type in your
http://www.webname.com and open your
site live. Then File | Publish Site to your C:\ drive location. Because of
no server on local machine it will NOT be to
http://localhost/whatever
Do a full publish.
message | sorry, for my confusion, but I still need help, I have XP home, but when I
| had FP02 in site settings, in the general tab I was able to select the
server
