I removed 2002 and loaded 2003.

There is no send/receive on the tools menu or anywhere else.

There is no send in email or customize/tools or anywhere else.

When I test account settings for provider, everything checks-out.

What do I need to do to be able to send and receive email.

I looked through the previous messages, there was either no solution,
or the solution given, could not be used for my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try creating a new mail profile from scratch, then deleting the old one.

OK - next try deleting or renaming the outcmd.dat file (which holds toolbar
customizations) while Outlook is closed. Outlook will recreate the default
toolbars next time you open it. The outcmd.dat file is located in a hidden
folder in Windows 2000 and XP, so make sure to include hidden folders in
your search.

I think my problem is similar. I Cannot send/receive email after
installing Office Pro 2003 including Outlook 2003. Using Windows 2000
OS, auto updated regularly. I Have done everything I can find to do so
far at support:
Have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook 2003
Have used detect and repair function at Add/Remove Programs
Have changed profile at Control Panel - Mail
Have changed profile in Outlook 2003
Have renamed file outcmd.dat to outcmd.old
Have confirmed ISP server settings are correct
Rebooted after every fix attempt.

Can access email at ISP web server
Can access internet
Have not installed any other programs since installed Office 2003 Pro.
Still cannot send or receive email in Outlook 2003. Did you ever get a
fix?
