After installing Outlook'03 I can't get it to work. When I
launch outlook I get this:
"The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is
unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to
complete this action."

The only thing I can do from there is hit OK which gives
me a dialog box:"Microsoft Exchange Server" showing my
hotmail account, clicking on either OK or CANCEL gives me
this:
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. The file
C:\Doc..\\\\\Outlook.ost is not an offline folder file."
From there the only thing I can do is click OK which
closes outlook.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and deleting any
files I could find that outlook left behind but same thing
happens when I reinstall I try to start it up again.
Please help....thanx

One crucial thing you forgot to mention; are you actually using Exchange or
do you just want your Hotmail account?

No I'm not using exchange...I tried setting up my Hotmail
account when I first installed Outlook...I guess I set it
up wrong, now I can't get in to remove that and set it up
properly

Alright the best way to go from here is to start with a new profile;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...
