First virus/trojan i've ever had, and would like to know which webpage I got
it from. The tech guys at my ISP found it, after I took my computer to
them. They said so far, 10 people in the last 2 days have been hit by it in
our area. A didn't know you could get a trojan simply by visiting a
webpage. The thing is, I don't go to any obsecure webpages. I, and the
tech guys, think it has something to do with www.google.com Anyone have any
info/opinion on this? Symantec says its a very low threat, and isn't
hitting many people. But, if I got this damn trojan, I would bet you many,
many others have it, and don't realize it yet.

Your ISP are grasping at straws. The Web sites that offer up the
malicious code(cr@p) are off line now.

They are hungry marketers that wanted to get a few more click-throughs to
earn a few more pennies. Pathetic really.

Human bovine excrement!

Seen many posts on this!

Got this info from the McAfee website:

QHosts-1
A popup ad at http://www.fortunecity.com/ /fc728x90smartad. is known to load
a remote site containing this trojan. This trojan relies on an Internet
Explorer vulnerability to get installed on the local system. Once
installed, the trojan redirects Domain Name requests to a specified address.
