Well, I just bought the Dual Xeon board with the PC-DL and 2.4Ghz 533
chips. Got 2GB ram and dual 250GB Maxtor SATA drives....

Waiting on the parts to show up.

Anyone had problems with this?

Built 2 with 3.06's/1Gb/36Gb SATA boot +PATA's - just remember to make
the floppy for the SATA drivers - F6 whilst XP or W2k boots or it
won't find any drives! Great board!

Just FYI, I beleive a Win2k SP4 Slipstream, or a XP SP1a slipstream should
both boot and recognize SATA drives, my XPsp1a did on my p4c800-e and sata

XP SP1 on a PC-DL and SATA does not find a drive to boot from. Thus
the need for drivers on the floppy.

What controller does it use for SATA? I believe my P4C800-E may have not
required this step, as I am using the Intel controller,
and not the promise.

I'm installing Windows 2003 Server Standard on it - I'll remember the
SATA drivers when I start the install.

Thanks
