Back last night after weekend in Langdale. It rained a little. :D

The wet weather gear had a great test and was very effective. :)

I think there are a few extra lakes in The Lakes after this weekend. It still manages to look good despite the rain. The colours are superb at this time of the year.
 
Glad you had a good time :D I love exploring The Lakes, but almost every time I go it seems to be chucking it down :lol:
 
Have been once to the lakes,together with my late brother and a mate of ours,in an old Morris Traveller. I think we were to be up there for about two weeks. The car,which was old then,just about made it up some of the hills.The weather was sunny inbetween rain showers. And boy did it rain. We were so fed up that by the start of the second week that we,as one,decided to go back home

I drove through the lakes once, apparently. Didn't realise til I checked the map at my destination in Scotland.

I really should go back there one day and see what I missed :)
 
Should have given us a shout I'd have come for a pint with you at the Dungeon.

That was probably the Mysterious Moving Lake it keeps on appearing at different locations here usually for a few hours and then its of again. Has even been seen on very hilly roads due to some ancient magic infused in the water. ;)
