On Tuesday our central heating/water system broke down.
Been without heat and hot water all week

Finally get to realise one of the few benefits of renting v ownership--------at least we don't have to pay the repair bill.

That happened to me the winter before I moved out of house, January 2002.

No heat or hot water for a week in freezing conditions, no fun.

A new combi boiler cost me around £1200.00 fitted, if I remember correctly

All for just six months use.....

Plumber stopped by but said he can't fix......so we have to wait for someone else to check it out.
Great, two 12 hour shifts at the weekend and no shower since Tuesday.........everyone step back

Aye, but just done a few 12 hour shifts in my new job so trust me---------the bath I just had was welcome
