just a simple question

I was just wondering if there was any posible way to speed
up my interne ping. right now it has a 5 sec internet lag
sending and receiving data. I was just wondering......I
would like to take out the lag so that I can play games
online.

There are a lot of software packages that claim to
increase the speed of an internet connection by changing
such things as MTU's. However if you are running a ping
and getting a 5Sec or 5000ms response time, you have a
major problem with your ISP. Try pinging www.yahoo.com
and see what your response time is, anymore then 500ms is
bad. If it is 5000ms, contact your ISP or change supplier.
