Junk Filtering after my rules

Hi

I have rules setup so certain email go to certain folders within the INBOX.

I have found that the spam filtering only works on the Inbox (root) and not
on the emails moved into specific folders within the INBOX.

I can not see the options to get windows mail to check all the inbox sub
folders rather than just the root??

All downloaded messages first come into the Inbox.
Next, the spam filter operates, then the message rules.

That's what I thought, but my folders within my inbox contain loads of
messages with [SPAM] alongside them,.,

On my machines junk filtering works on the Inbox _before_ my rules are
applied. Then I mark it as safe and then click the Not Junk button, which
marks it as read and then applies my rules.

Well, the spam filter is not 100% perfect.

That [SPAM] notation comes from your ISP, not WinMail's Junk filter. The
Junk filter isn't perfect.

Ok, Cheers frank. I have never noticed that before on OE in XP, just now on
Vista Mail.

It is becoming more clear.
