Hi, Just got one of those junk email messages from Ivory Coast spammer,
you all know the spiel.
Curious thing is the to: address was certainly not mine. Message claimed
to have got my email address from Comodo forum. I might have supplied an
email address to sign up, but do not use my real email address in
newsgroups and did not expect my Comodo sign up to be made public. The
mail box was hotmail, who are pretty good at keeping out junk once it's
been identified as such. Just thought I would let those of you who have
signed up with Comodo know and wonder if anyone else has seen same.

When an email is sent, the sender can specify a different email address in
To: from the actual recipient.

For example, an email program could have this pseudo-conversation with an
email server:

Hello, I want to send an email to: (e-mail address removed)
From: (e-mail address removed)
To: (e-mail address removed)
Subject: Spam
....etc.
