Is there a limit to the number of Junk Email Senders that can be added to the list in Outlook 2000 or above

I keep adding and adding and adding and.... but the junk email filter rarely catches more than a few

Thanks.

I don't think it's any better in later versions, but the junk mail
features in Outlook 2000 are just about useless.

For example, the "Junk mail sender" list works by examining the "From"
field of incoming email, but spammers fake that every time. You will
only stop the stupid ones, the ones that don't fake the headers.

I think you're much better off with a third party application sitting
between you and your mail server. Suggestions, all free: (these are
being used by people I know, but I have no personal experience)

SpamPal (www.spampal.org) - can use a combination of DNS block lists
and Bayesian filtering.

Mailwasher (http://www.mailwasher.net/) Free version is okay, but do
NOT use the fake bounce feature.
