Jumpy movie

I created and saved a WMM on my PC. I wanted to save it to
my DV camera to make VHS tapes later. But when I viewed
the recorded tape in the DV camera, it was jumpy, there
were periods of 'blue screen' and the images were frozen
in time--no action. Any advice would be welcome.
 
Make sure you hard drive has lots of free space and is defragged just before
exporting. Also, turn off or don't use other apps during the transfer.
