After leaving the computer running for a few hours or
days, the pointer jumps when you drag the pointer across
the screen. When I reboot the problem goes away, but
then reappears after the computer has been up for awhile.
I am running Windows XP Home, with 2.0 GHz processor and
256 MB of RAM. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Barry

What kind of mouse? Wireless? Optical? My wireless mouse
will do that when the batteries are low or when it is out
of the range of the receiver.

Yeh, play with your mouse sensetivity and accuracy in
control panel, it seems software, but might be a new mouse
and logitech comes with software, so does IBM.

It is a wired mouse. Any thoughts? Thanks.
