jumping screen

just bought a new laptop with xp. when i compose text
files, either in email, notepad or word, the body text
jumps up and down as i am typing. is this a keyboard
issue, a refresh issue, or something else? i have looked
in several areas without immediate remedy.

any help appreciated.

Hi Ben, This is just me but when I pay good $$$$ for

something I expect it to work if it doesnt I return it
and get something else.Laptops are not cheap,and after
spending money on it, it should work right,take it
back.

Since your laptop is new and you just purchased take it
back to the store and have them take a look at it, that's
your best move.
