Hi All,

I just installed 5472 on a brand new HP Duo Core laptop. The keystrokes seem
possessed by a ghost. When typing and all of a sudden the cursor will jump to
another non-current field. It is very difficult to even type the password at
Vista login screen. Only suspect I can think about is the voice control of
the microphone features.

Please help! Operating systems that cannot type correctly are extremely
annoying. I so do not want to rebuild when I imagine this is an easy fix.

Thanks,
Magoo

I realize this may sound unrealistic and perhaps a little condescending, but
are you sure you are not brushing against the touchpad with a shirt cuff or
something?

Mark,

I like you tag line!

I am sure I was not dragging on the touchpad. We hardly wear clothes this
time of the year in Phoenix if you know what I mean so clothes were not
interfering.

You would not believe how annoying this is to type something wrong. You know
what else you realize is how many userids and passwords you have out on the
internet. Everyone of these userids and passwords must be meticulously typed
or the cursor jumps out to a different field or backs up. Strange!

Thanks!

I have the same problem with my HP Pavilion dv5035nr. I didn't have this
problem before I installed Vista.
