JumpDrive Problem

Just got a new Sony Vaio laptop with XP Home. It came with a JumpDrive 128MG
by Lexar. The Sony recognizes it just fine but my desktop 1-year old Dell
Dimension 4600C with XP Home refuses to recognize the JumpDrive and cannot
locate any drivers to install. Lexar has, of course, not been very helpful
and forget dell.

Any thoughts on why it would be recognized on one XP Home but not on the
other? And, more importantly, how do I get both to recognize the JumpDrive
so that I can transfer data?

Thanks

Yep.

1) Some JUMP DRIVES say they are USB1 compatible and are not. If your USB
port is USB1.x then that could be a problem.

2) If the port you are plugging it in to requires that the USB item has it's
OWN power source you have a problem.
