I used to be able to open a sign in page.."Lets say for
the sake of argument signing in to a web server e-mail
account" and as soon as the page was loaded I did not
even have to look at the page and type in my name and
password and it would sign me in..Now when I load that
page I have to take the mouse and click on the sign in
line or else nothing will type there...I know this is
highly indescriptive but How else can I word it ??
Does any body out there know what I am talking about and
how to fix ??

With my Logitech mouse, the "smart move" option is found in control
panel \ mouse \ motion tab.

Did you recently change the way you login to Windows? Add or change a
password locally? If you did, there's a good chance that the mail server
sees someone different when you are trying to log in and now requires your
identification.

After re-reading your post, I realized that I got it wrong and that
Maureen's answer is right on track. If you are using Logitech software with
your mouse, that feature is called "Smart Move". However, if you are just
using the default Windows mouse driver, go to Control Panel>Mouse then click
the "Pointer Options" tab, and check the box for "Snap to"

Hosh
