Jpg's in Reports

Hopefully this is an easy one to resolve. I am trying to add employees photos to a report. I can run a search on an employee ID and it brings back all of their information. The problem is I have to convert all of the D**N jpg's to bmp to make the photos work. I tried linking the files to jpgs and all it shows is the file name. I am running access 2003 so I wouldn't have thought a filter was an issue. I'm not doing all 15,000 employees other wise I'd go mad.
Any help?
