JPG Resolution in PPT '07

I am using PPT '07 and want to know if there is a way to maximize the
resolution of jpeg images when saving as jpegs from a created presentation.

If they fix it in a service pack, yes. For now, image export is broken.
960-pixel-wide images are all you can get.

What you could try is exporting to EMF or WMF instead, then open them in a
program that lets you specify the DPI to rasterize them at.

Or if you have a copy of Adobe Acrobat (full Acrobat, not Reader) you can save
to PDF then export the PDF to images from Acrobat.

There are other similar printer drivers that "print" to images. One's included
with Snag-It from TechSmith.
